This policy explains how Sigaram Technologies (ABN 13 616 011 682) handles personal information when you visit sigaramtechnologies.com or get in touch with us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

Sigaram Technologies is a Sydney-based studio that builds websites, ecommerce stores and applied-AI systems for businesses. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sigaram Technologies, and "you" refers to anyone who visits our site or contacts us.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site.

Information you give us

When you complete the contact form, we collect your name, email address, contact number, an optional company name, and the details of the project you describe. If you email or call us directly, we hold whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics providers collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. See our Cookie Policy for the specifics.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
• To prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one.
• To provide, support and improve the services you engage us for.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and our business. They only handle your information to provide their service to us, and they are bound by their own privacy obligations. These include:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, spam protection (Turnstile) and privacy-first analytics.
• Google: Google Analytics, which helps us understand site usage. Google may process this data on servers outside Australia.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia (for example, in the United States). Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the APPs.

How we store and protect it

Contact-form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

Under the APPs you can ask us to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete; or
• delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
